- Be a part of Michigan’s longest-running 4th of July parade in its 96th year! Saturday July 4th at 11:00am, it will proceed along Cross Street from the Water Tower to Depot Town. This will also be the celebration of the Nation’s 250th anniversary. Honorary Parade Marshalls: Descendants of Gabriel Godfroy, riding in Eva McGuire’s Corvair Flag Car . This is a parade put on by the community for the community. Expect marching bands, real Rosie the Riveters, neighborhood floats, Veterans, vintage vehicles, Ypsi’s oldest Centenarian Gordon Cahours (106), dancing, a Tribute Rosie lunch-box Drill Team, Detroit Tigers mascot PAWS and other surprises.

As you make your way through the scenic 5K course, you will encounter four massive “Foam Bogs,” each blasting towers of different colored foam.
