W4 Country Idol presented by Champion Cueter is back — and this year, the winner already has their first gig booked.
We’re searching for Southeast Michigan’s next great performer, and this year’s Grand Prize winner will not only take home $2,500 cash courtesy of Champion Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram… they’ll also perform their winning song live at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre on Friday, September 4th before Justin Moore takes the stage later that evening.
Here’s how it works:
Join us for a qualifying night and pick a song to perform that you can really crush karaoke-style, just you and a microphone. Our judges will score you based on vocal ability, stage presence, crowd participation, and entertainment value, with the top two performers each winning a $100 Lewis Jewelers gift card and an invite to the big finale at Revel Run in Chelsea. If you don’t make it, try again at the next qualifying night!
The finals will feature the top two performers from each of eight qualifying stops, plus four second chance “Wild Card” contestants chosen at random from everyone else who competed. Each time you compete is another Wild Card entry. These 20 singers will perform once more with the same scoring criteria for a shot at the big prizes.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SING COUNTRY! Pick a song that fits YOU, and remember that vocal ability is only one quarter of your score; you have to own the stage, get the crowd into it, and be a true entertainer to be crowned the next W4 Country Idol!
